- When can I apply for a visa to go to Spain?
You will be able to apply for the visa once you obtain the resolution of the residence permit issued by the Large Companies Unit (UGE)
I have dual nationality, from my country of origin and Spanish, what procedure should I follow?
If you have a Spanish passport you can come to Spain at any time, you do not need a VISA, but to work in Spain you will first need to process your DNI, issued by the Spanish police stations, this procedure can only be done physically in Spain. Later with the DNI you can apply for your NAF, electronic certificate etc...-
The appointment I have been given at the consulate to apply for the visa is very late and I can not bring it forward, I already have a residence permit and my contract starts before the appointment I have for the visa, can I travel to Spain with another visa as the tourist visa which is faster to get it?
NO, under no circumstances, you can only travel with the visa that corresponds to your residence permit, another visa will CANCEL your residence permit. You must wait for your appointment at the consulate, and inform PDI that you cannot arrive on the initially agreed date.
- My Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree is European, do I need to apply for equivalence? Yes, all non-Spanish degrees that are required for your recruitment must be processed through the application for equivalence.
